Specialized Translations
In order to achieve such quality level, the examination and selection process developed by accentor involves thorough verification of the translators’ skills in certain language pairs and areas of specialization by an expert proofreader with over 12 years of experience; when assigning human resources to a project, we rely on the assessment indices obtained for that specific field.
One of our continuous concerns is to align the translation services, involved in almost all operations that take place in a modern economy, to the fast pace of the business environment. To this end, in order to shorten the execution term of projects as much as possible without impairing the quality of translations, we have successfully implemented an advanced translation memory tool.
Proofreading
Proofreading is the process where the translated text is verified, focusing both on the spelling and grammar but especially on the accuracy and consistency of the terminology used.
Considering that the proofreading is that stage of the translation process that immediately precedes the finalization of the project and that it actually defines the quality of a translation, the proofreader is a highly qualified professional with many years of experience in translations or a consultant with at lease a university degree in that specific field.
The self-imposed standard of quality of accentor implies the revision of all the translations by internal proofreaders with a high level of experience in translations.
